Rapid Prototyping
Today, we were asked to develop our prototypes further. We have decided to develop our website further and make it so that it better reflects our project goal. For colour schemes for the website I looked at the below colour wheel about emotions to decide on what colours to use in the website.
We're developing our website in such a way that it appears more professional and suits our chosen theme better too. Our website will display our documentary series which, will contain a series of interviews. Our interviews will be more complex than before because after receiving feedback on our project, we decided that this would be the best course to take. Our website will be easy to navigate through and will be simplistic in style but in keeping with our chosen theme and concept.
Four our series of interviews we will also be conducting an introduction scene to the interview video. This introduction scene will display a collage of current students faces which, we feel will make the interview more structured as well as interesting to the viewer. We did this by taking photographs of current students faces in college today and then Eva and Esmee will combine all of the images into a collage that will be included on our introduction opening scene for each interview. Isabel and Nicole were working together developing the website today. The way in which that were developing and altering the website design will reflect on our theme and overall concept and message. It will also be achieved by thorough research into web design and colour schemes.
We will be making our interviews more complex and it will more clear and easy to follow. We want our interviews to express each interviewees personal message and experiences. They must be clear and concise but also incorporate video editing techniques and different camera angles and shots. We want to evoke a mood in the viewer to entice them to want to explore our concept and message further. We are currently developing all of this today and we will be demoing our prototype to our supervisor from 4pm today. We are looking forward to demonstrating our project to them and we hope that our message clearly comes across.
